Chicago Conference
LCF is taking a delegation of up to 10 lawyers to a conference in Chicago run by the Alliance Defense Fund. The 5 day conference will challenge and equip lawyers who are concerned with the way the law is increasingly used to erode Christian freedoms, marriage and the family and who wish to explore how the law can be used to defend the Truth and uphold justice.
Delegates’ flights and hotel accommodation will be paid for with participants being required to commit pro bono hours to the LCF over the next 3 years to put their conference knowledge into action. The conference is a brilliant opportunity for LCF members who are passionate about putting their faith into action.
We are looking for applications of 750 words expressing why you want to be part of the LCF delegation and how you would like to use your pro bono commitment to seek justice in the British legal system. Applications (from qualified lawyers only) with an accompanying CV should be sent to Thomas Cordrey (email me), Chairman of the public policy committee, by 3rd May.
